In the shadow of the fortress of Varberg, att the harbor and midway between the legendary hot and cold baths, lays the silversmith workshop in the gable towards te sea of Hamnmagasinet, a historic building from the period when exports of oats to England were the basis for Halland’s prosperity. Founded in 1874 - To day the origin of exciting creations from silversmith Pär Manteus.
"On 13 May 2010 I opened the massive wooden doors to my own gallery/workshop in Varberg called - PM Silversmedja - for the first time. Here visitors can both learn about the ancient craft by viewing the workshop from the gallery and enhance their personality with the jewelry inspired by the rugged coastal landscape."
